Anyway, these are my pictures and memories from two heavenly weeks in the French West Indies. I would love to post any other pics people want to send me. I haven't gone into a lot of detail on some of the pictures. The reason being, if you are yet to go on your first Windjammer, I don't want to spoil any of the fun surprises. If something doesn't make sense, just go on a Windjammer and it will. |

I'd
been wanting to go on a Windjammer "cruise" for years. The Windjammer rep quoted me the price of
a one week cruise for the April 9th sail and the airfare.
When
I realized the cost of the cruise was much less than the airfare, I
asked him, well, if I'm going to spend so much on airfare, can you book
me for this upcoming week too? "Well, yeah, but you'd have to fly
out tomorrow." I said "Great! What time?". He
sounded rather baffled but did the neccesities and I was thrilled. I
barely slept that night.
I'll
save you the horror story of multiple cancelled flights. I got to
the Poly 32 hours later than scheduled, but still made it just in time
for sailing. USAir SUCKS. Enough said. But it was all worth it.
