| Our first two days of the
tour were spent at a small village called Elephant Sands. There were 3 or 4 people to each
hut. The walls of the huts were made of stone but the roofs were thatched straw. We had
mosquito nets over each bed but didn't need to use them.
Me and my roomates in front of our hut.
Days were spent on game drives and nights were
for partying in this communal dining hut that doubled as a bar.
I loved this street sign..."Yield to the
elephants"
Our truck got a flat tire on the way back from one of the
drives. It was getting dark and there were rather large, wild animals running around, so I
was a little nervous. But our tour guides had it changed within 5 minutes.
